Nokia Lumia 920 headed to Three UK

Vodafone isn’t the only British mobile network that’s getting ready to sell the Nokia Lumia 920, thus ending EE’s exclusivity on the handset.

Three UK has announced it’s going to offer the Lumia 920, too. I will do it starting February, at the same time with another Nokia Windows Phone 8 handset (the cheaper Lumia 620), and the Android Jelly Bean-based Sony Xperia Z.

The Lumia 920 is Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 flagship device. Its features include LTE, HSPA+, a 4.5 inch PureMotion HD+ display with 1280 x 768 pixels and Gorilla Glass 2, a 8.7MP PureView rear camera (apparently the best camera ever included in a mobile phone), 1.3MP front-facing camera, various Nokia exclusive apps (like City Lens, Transport and Cinemagraph), dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Dolby sound enhancements, 1GB of RAM, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 32GB of internla memory, and a 2,000 mAh battery. The 920 is quite large and heavy compared to other smartphones in its class: 130.3 x 70.8 x 10.7 mm, and 182 grams.

In case you want to take a peek at Three’s Lumia 920, you can visit the network’s Coming Soon webpage.
