Microsoft Surface Pro 128 GB completely sold out

Microsoft's anticipated Surface Pro tablet is available in the United States and Canada since yesterday. In the American online Microsoft Store, the 128 GB of the device sold out in just a few hours. It's unknown what kind of stock other suppliers have. It does seem that the 128 GB version is quite popular with those vendors as well. In the Canadian Microsoft Store both variants are still available.

Unlike the RT version, the Surface Pro is based on the x86-architecture. The tablet features an Intel Core i5 processor, USB 3.0, Mini DisplayPort connector, 'Surface Pen' and a Full HD resolution screen.

The 64 GB and 128 GB model have respective pricetags of $899 (£570) and $999 (£633). It appears that the consumer doesn't mind the extra $100 for the added storage capacity. This doesn't seem too strange, since the Surface Pro 64 GB only has 23 GB of storage left anyway.
