Last week, we told you that Apple component suppliers in Asia have started mass-producing the long-rumored iPad Mini. And now we're hearing that more than 10 million units could be manufactured this quarter only - at least according to The Wall Street Journal.
Unfortunately, there's still no word on exactly when Apple is going to announce the new iPad, but everyone expects this to happen before the end of October.
As mentioned countless times before, the iPad Mini should feature a 7.85 inch display (possibly with 1024 x 768 pixels).
Apple will probably sell the new, smaller tablet for less than $ 300 - since it certainly wants it to be a direct competitor to Google's Nexus 7, and Amazon's Kindle Fire. Hopefully, by the time the iPad Mini hits the shelves, the Cupertino giant will fix its faulty mapping service that came with iOS 6.
