AT&T has unveiled that the LG Optimus G (announced by the carrier earlier this month) will be available starting November 2, becoming its first quad-core LTE smartphone.
Praised by the media as one of the best Android handsets this year, the Optimus G features a 4.7 inch True HD IPS + display, LTE connectivity, 15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory, a 2,100 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (upgradable to Jelly Bean). AT & T's Optimus G comes with an 8MP rear camera, unlike the international version, which has a 13MP one.
Sprint will also sell the Optimus G in the US, keeping the 13MP snapper. It remains to be seen if it manages to launch it before AT & T intros its versions.
