Huawei has unveiled a new smartphone - its first to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean from day one. Called Huawei Y300 (model number U8833), the handset has been showcased in Brazil, where it should be released before the end of December.
The Y300 isn't a high-end device, featuring a 4 inch display with 800 x 480 pixels, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and a 1,730 mAh battery. The new smartphone will cost 449 Brazilian reals, which means about $ 220. So it's going to be among the cheapest Jelly Bean handsets on the market.
Huawei will probably launch the Y300 in other countries besides Brazil, although we have no details on that for the moment.
