Xiaomi has officially announced its cheapest Android smartphone yet today. The Xiaomi Red Rice is even more affordable than the MI2A introduced back in April. As such, it’s the lowest-end handset the company has ever produced too, but don’t let that disappoint you – for this has some extremely decent specs.

Panasonic GX7 digital camera leaks in new batch of images

Last week, the Panasonic GX7 leaked in the German magazine Foto, giving us a decent look at the camera, as well as a roster of its specifications, most of which were in line with leaks that had previously surfaced regarding the digital camera. Now the camera has leaked again, this time on the Japanese website Digicame, complete with several new images of the camera.

ASUS announced the MeMO Pad FHD 10, its newest 10-inch class tablet. Home Audio System SHAKE-5 Launched by Sony

There are plenty of audio systems up for order, each fancier than the other, and Sony wants to overshadow them all. To be honest, when that system has an audio power of 2400W RMS, I can't really fault the company for expecting to achieve such a lofty goal.

Sony Corporation ('Sony') and Panasonic Corporation ('Panasonic') today announced that they have signed a basic agreement with the objective of jointly developing a next-generation standard for professional-use optical discs, with the objective of expanding their archive business for long-term digital data storage.

ASUS began rolling out BIOS updates to its socket LGA2011 motherboards based on the X79 Express chipset, which lets them support Intel's upcoming Core "Ivy Bridge-E" processors, namely the Core i7-4960X Extreme Edition, the Core i7-4930K, and the Core i7-4820K.

Panasonic is gearing up to release a new digital camera – the GX7 – based on the Four Third L1 device. Back in April, the Geeksphone Firefox smartphone sold 1000 units in a day, and has since seen fairly regular demands for the smartphone. The Geeksphone Peak+ runs Firefox OS version 1.1, and is now available for pre-order from the Geeksphone website for €149, and will begin shipping out to those who nab their place in this batch in September.

Google officially announced the latest version of Android operating system, 4.3, at its event today. The newest version of Android is a minor upgrade over the currently present Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and brings restricted profiles, a few other minor features along with a bunch of performance enhancements.

The Google event brought the new Nexus 7 2. It's a 7" tablet running pure Android 4.3 and improves the screen and chipset over the first generation Nexus tablet.
