Motorola, a Google-owned company, posted an update regarding the status of the Android 4.4 KitKat update for their 2013 Smartphones shortly after Google officially announced the newest iteration of Android. Support handsets include the Moto X and 2013 Motorola Droid models (Droid Mini, Droid Ultra and Droid MAXX). Punit Soni has revealed that Motorola's website will be continuously updated, we are hoping that one of them slips in a release date (in any way, it will take at least a month or two).
The Droid Razr HD, Razr Maxx HD and Razr M have been tagged with "future plan coming soon." We're not sure as to what Motorola means, but we are hoping (once again) that it has something to do with an update to Android 4.4 KitKat. Expect the update to land on the older Droid models (if it ever does) only after the new 2013 devices receive the update.
