ASUS began selling its latest E-ATX motherboard Maximus V Extreme. The novelty is based on the Intel Z77 Express chipset and supports Intel socket LGA1155.
The board has four slots for DDR3 memory with support for the total amount of up to 32 GB, five slots PCI-Express 3.0/2.0 x16, one slot PCI-Express 2.0 x4, and one mini-PCIe 2.0 x1.
As the connection ports are offered six SATA 6.0 Gbps, three SATA 3.0 Gbps, a mSATA, as well as eight USB 3.0, eight USB 2.0 and Gigabit LAN.
The cost of Maximus V Extreme in Japan is 40,000 yen (about 509 dollars). On the Russian market, the average cost of board is 13 thousand rubles.
