ASUS has announced the beginning of the sale in June this year a new motherboard SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 - an updated revision of the board, popular among overclockers. The novelty has got the certificate of conformity of the new operating system Windows 8.
Based on a bunch of chispseta and Southbridge AMD 990FX + SB950, motherboard offers support for processors AM3 +, has four slots for RAM DDR3 (supports up to 32GB), four slots PCI-Express 2.0 x16, one PCI-Express 2.0 x1 and one PCI.
As a port to connect SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 offers eight ports SATA 6.0 Gbps, two eSATA, six USB 3.0, twelve USB 2.0 and Gigabit LAN.
The board has already gone on sale at a cost of about 16,000 yen (200 dollars).
