Marketplace officially renamed to Windows Phone Store


Microsoft has officially canceled the name Windows Phone Marketplace. From now online application store for mobile devices is referred to as Windows Phone Store.

Along with the new name of the software giant announced a number of improvements. These include new features Bing search engine and expanding the applications. Categories Top Free and Top Paid list were combined into New + Rising. Microsoft promises that the rebranding and new design - it is "just the beginning", but there is still plenty of other updates.

Windows Phone Store is now available to the Australian and New Zealand. Other countries will have the opportunity in the coming weeks.
