ZTE Engage lands at Cricket on October 2

Cricket is getting ready to launch yet another Android-powered smartphone made by ZTE. It's becoming a tradition of sorts for the small carrier to release devices made by the Chinese company, and their partnership seems to be going well.

The ZTE Engage will arrive on October 2, and will be yours if you agree to part with no more than $ 249.99. You won't need to sign a long-term contract to get it at that price. Smartphone plans you can pair the device with start at $ 50 per month.

The Engage comes with a 4-inch 480 × 800 touchscreen, a 1.4 GHz processor, an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera, microSD slot, Muve Music support, all the usual connectivity options, and a 1,900 mAh battery.
