ZTE unveiled a 4-core smartphone Grand Era U985

The company has just announced a ZTE smartphone Grand Era U985, which debuts on Chinese soil in a few days. The device supports the local TD-SCDMA network and is characterized by a 4-core Tegra 3 processor, 720p-screen diagonal of 4.5 inches and an 8-megapixel camera on the back.

The manufacturer claims that the Grand Era U985 is the thinnest 4-core phone. However, in reality it is not. 8.6-mm shell smartphone narrowed to only 7.9 mm at its thinnest part. For comparison, the total thickness of the body of Korean LG Optimus G is 8.45 mm. This is not the first time that manufacturers are trying so energetically promoting their phones in order to bring them to more public attention.

In addition to a 4-core Grand Era U985, ZTE plans to launch three new smartphones: Grand Era LTE, Grand V970 and Grand U930. The latter two are classified as cost of devices.
