Sony introduced the NEX-VG900 camcorder and VG30H APS-C

Following yesterday's announcement of several digital cameras, Sony followed release of two new cameras. First on the list is the model NEX-VG900, which, as stated by the manufacturer, is the world's first 35mm full frame camcorder with interchangeable lenses.

Sony VG900 uses the same 24.3-megapixel image sensor, as well as model A99. If the scale of the sensor DSLR-camera looks great, by the standards of consumer camcorders it is simply huge (40 times). As mentioned above A99, VG900 model makes full-frame 24-megapixel images in RAW-format. But its main feature is to record 1080p-video with a frame rate of 60 or 24 per second using genuine filters CinemTone Gamma CinemaTone Color and material to make a cinematic look. There are other image filters.

For smoother zooming VG900 uses a special converter. The camcorder comes with the Sony Quad Capsule Spatial Array Microphone, which combines four multidirectional microphone to record 5.1-channel sound.

Sony Handycam NEX-VG900 goes on sale in November with a price tag of "$ 3300" (the camera and adapter LA-EA3).

For those looking for a cheaper alternative, the company has developed the NEX-VH30H, successor models VG20H, published last year. The camcorder is characterized by a compact 16.1-megapixel APS HD CMOS, support for recording video at 1080p-60 and 24fps, OLED viewfinder high resolution (XGA) and the system of the zoom images, borrowed from the model VG900.

Sony Handycam NEX-VG30H will be offered together with the lens SELP-18 200 E PZ 18-200mm f3.5-F6.3 (built-in image stabilizer) and costs 2700 dollars per set. "Carcass" alone will cost 1800 dollars.
