HTC’s One Mini could arrive in the UK a bit sooner than expected. Carphone Warehouse and Expansys are both saying that the new handset should be in stock starting tomorrow, August 9.
Carphone Warehouse allows customers to get the One Mini either on contract (it’s free on plans starting at £27 per month), or SIM-free (for £429.95).

Expansys is offering the handset only SIM-free, asking £369.99 (€430, or $575) for it – that’s closer to its real value.
Meanwhile, other British retailers – like Unlocked-mobiles – are still expecting the One Mini to be released on August 12.
Although it’s a mini smartphone, the One Mini is not much smaller than the original One. It measures 132 x 63.2 x 9.3 mm – compared to One’s 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm. The handset runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean (certainly upgradeable to 4.3), featuring: a 4.3 inch HD (1280 x 720) display, Sense 5 UI, LTE connectivity, NFC, Beats Audio, 1.6MP front-facing camera, 4MP UltraPixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording, dual-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, Micro SD card support, and a 1,800 mAh battery.
In the US, the HTC One Mini could be launched by AT&T later this year. However, the second largest North American carrier has yet to confirm this.
