MSI is preparing a new flagship graphics card in the line of GeForce GTX 660. The novelty will receive factory overclocking and will be called N660GTX HAWK. The guys from the portal Expertview managed to get one of the samples of this board, and they were quick to share the details.
Let's start with the fact that the GeForce GTX 660 HAWK out of the box offers a core frequency of 1100 MHz and 1176 MHz mode GPU Boost. Memory will run at 6.00 GHz, the former (GDDR5 effective). "Under the hood" will hide 10-phase VRM subsystem with all the consequences: high quality transistors, IR DirectFET-s and so on. New uses high-voltage controller, which allows software to change settings and so. Card Power receives two 6-pin PCIe connectors.
GTX 660 HAWK uses dual BIOS - hence a failed supplementary acceleration times and no problem will revert to the factory settings. Besides, there GPU Reactor, already familiar to owners Radeon series of Lightning that same MSI (by the way the author of these lines has such a fee, but does not reach the hand to tinker with it.)
Card uses a graphics processor based on GK106 28nm process technology, with 960 cores CUDA, 80 TMU, 24 ROP and 192-bit memory GDDR5, which is proposed here 2GB.
As a new video jacks has two DVI and one DisplayPort and HDMI. New items can be collected in a bunch of 2-way SLI with any other GTX 660 series card.
Price GeForce GTX 660 HAWK is not reported.
