Samsung Galaxy Note II Now Available at Verizon

Verizon Wireless customers can now purchase a new highly appealing smartphone on the network of their wireless carrier, namely the Samsung Galaxy Note II.

The 5.5-inch phablet has been on pre-order for the past few weeks, with the first units already shipped to users, and is now available on shelves at the operator.

Users interested in the purchase of this smartphone will find it listed on the wireless services provider's website with a price tag of $ 299.99 attached to it with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

Those who would rather have it without committing to a new contract will be able to purchase it for $ 699.99.

Samsung's large Galaxy Note II handset has been available for purchase in the country for a few weeks now, through both AT & T and T-Mobile, and its availability at Verizon should spur sales.

In addition to the huge Super AMOLED screen, which can deliver a 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution, the phone also packs a fast 1.6GHz Exynos quad-core processor inside, as well as 2GB of RAM, thus being capable of great performance capabilities. Furthermore, it arrives on shelves with 16GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot to expand it by up to 64GB.

On the back, the new device sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with support for full HD video recording, complemented by a 1.9MP camera that should prove great for video chatting while on the go.

Galaxy Note II landed at Verizon with support for the wireless carrier's 4G LTE network, as well as with 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, NFC capabilities, built-in GPS receiver, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Mobile Hotspot, and more . The phone is powered by a 3,100 mAh Li-Ion battery.

The smartphone runs under Google's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, with Samsung's TouchWiz interface loaded on top, and with a series of specific apps packed inside, including S Note, S Beam, S Voice, and more.
