Major carrier Sprint announced last month it will launch the LTE-enabled LG Mach smartphone on its airwaves. However, no details on the phone's availability and pricing options were unveiled until today.
Android enthusiasts who prefer QWERTY devices will be happy to know Sprint plans to release the LG Mach on November 11.
The smartphone will be available for purchase for only 100 USD (75 EUR) with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year agreement. Keep in mind that LG Mach requires activation on one of the Sprint Everything Data plans starting at $ 79.99 USD / month.
Dubbed the "thinnest device with QWERTY," LG Mach is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box.
Although the smartphone's hardware configuration permits it, the South Korean handset maker did not confirm any Jelly Bean updates for the LG Mach yet.
Aside from the comfy QWERTY slide-out keyboard, LG Mach comes equipped with a pretty powerful 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon processor built on Krait architecture.
The phone packs and Adreno 225 graphics processing unit, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
On the pack, the Android smartphone packs 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary VGA camera for video calls.
The Mach comes with a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.
LG also confirmed the high-capacity 1700 mAh Li-Ion battery should provide up to 9.5 hours of talk time. There are no numbers for the standby time for the moment.
Obviously, it will come packed with Sprint ID Pack that includes apps, ringtones, wallpapers and other personalized content.
