Fujitsu and Lenovo arm SanDisk SSD-drives


In the latest ultrabooks Fujitsu and Lenovo brands used SSD-drives SanDisk mSATA. This statement was made today, the company SanDisk (the world's largest manufacturer of various media). In particular, solid state drives iSSD with 32 GB have been successfully adapted line of Fujitsu LifeBook, which, according to SanDisk, has helped increase productivity and reduce system boot time.

Separately, SanDisk announced that its new laptop, namely, for Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E430 and E530, the Chinese company Lenovo chose the SSD-drives mSATA U100 16 GB, which work for a couple of hard drives.

SanDisk also justified the effort involved in promoting flash memory type eMMC. The company managed to secure the support of about 25% of the world market eMMC, second only to Samsung Electronics.

According to the forecast senior vice president and general manager of OEM-unit SanDisk Dan Inbar (Dan Inbar), in 2013 approximately 80% of all delivered to the smartphone market will use the technology eMMC. This year's decision on 4 GB will spread in the entry-level smartphones. Drives of 16 GB and 32 will be presented in mid-level devices.
