Sony has developed a flexible 9.9-inch OLED-panel

Sony was among the first major manufacturers, released on the market for OLED TV. By increasing the size of panels, the Japanese company has done everything possible to reduce manufacturing costs. At some stage, even Sony has suspended sales of its OLED-TVs. And after a while Sony announced its new development - a flexible OLED-panel. The presentation took place at the new exhibition SID 2012.

Although the 9.9-inch display is limited to a resolution and pixel density 960h540 111ppi, the company continues to work hard on improving his performance. The good news is that the process used in the assembly of panels, makes it easy to organize mass production. And it can have a positive impact on the price.

Since Sony does not have the time to conduct comprehensive testing panel, its capabilities have been demonstrated on a laptop screen. The very same OLED-panel is not present at the exhibition.
