Motorola ELECTRIFY M Coming Soon to US Cellular

Motorola Mobility officially introduced the RAZR M back in September, but the smartphone has yet to hit shelves. US Cellular has just announced it will carry the handset starting November 8.

However, the Android phone will be available as Motorola ELECTRIFY M at US Cellular. Beginning next week, customers can purchase the smartphone for as low as 100 USD (75 EUR) with a new two-year agreement and after a 100 USD (75 EUR) mail-in rebate.

Given the fact that this is a 4G LTE smartphone, the above deal will only be available in markets where the carrier offers 4G LTE services.

Customers living in regions where US Cellular does not have LTE network coverage yet will be able to purchase the Motorola ELECTRIFY M for 150 USD (115 EUR) with a new two-year contract and after a 100 USD (75 EUR) mail-in rebate .

"As we continue to roll out the 4G LTE network to more customers between now and the end of the year, we're providing more options to help them select the right 4G LTE device that meets their needs and can enhance their lives," said Edward Perez, vice president of sales and marketing operations for US Cellular.

Motorola ELECTRIFY M comes packed with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, which is complemented by an Adreno 225 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone ships with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, but Motorola promised a Jelly Bean upgrade would be available at some point.

Other highlights of the ELECTRIFY M include 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, 8-megapixel rear camera and VGA front-facing camera.
