The second largest US mobile carrier has also announced that it would offer the HTC One Mini – so the render that appeared at the end of last month was legit. AT&T will start selling the One Mini on August 23, for $99.99 on contract – an unsurprising price, since the One 32GB is available for $199.99. As its name suggests, the One Mini is simply a down-sized version of the original HTC One (with some downgraded specs). It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and features: a 4.3 inch HD display, Sense 5 UI, LTE and HSPA+ connectivity, Beats Audio, 1GB of RAM, dual-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 16GB of expandable memory, and a 1,800 mAh battery. The camera on the back of the One Mini is similar to what you’re getting with the big One: 4MP UltraPixel with LED flash and 1080p video recording. “Our customers loved the HTC One, so we are excited to offer this slimmer, more compact version. HTC Desire 500 comes to Europe this month, priced at €279

HTC has announced the Desire 500 yet again today, this time for Europe. The midrange smartphone first got unveiled last month, but that was only for the company’s native Taiwan it seems. At the time we speculated on the fact that the Desire 500 may get released in other markets in Asia, but here it is coming to Europe in full force. This has to have something to do with HTC’s newfound strategy of offering many options in the midrange of the smartphone space to complement its One flagships.

HTC One mini lands in Germany and Austria in August for €450

The HTC One mini availability and pricing info for Europe is trickling in – first the UK, now Germany and Austria. The phone will cost €450 off-contract when it starts shipping in August.

Phone House lists the Stealth Black color version as available on August 12, while the Glacial Silver version will have to wait until September. Cyberport will deliver both on September 19 at the same price, €449.
