Toshiba Tecra Z40 and A50 laptops aim at business users

Toshiba has unveiled a pair of new notebook computers aimed at small and medium business users. Both of the new computers fit into the Tecra line and include the compact Tecra Z40 and larger Tecra A50. The Tecra Z40 notebook computer has a 14-inch screen and is built using a magnesium alloy Tough Body chassis.

Toshiba Announces Canvio Connect and Canvio Slim Mobile Portable HDD Series

Toshiba announced two additions to its Canvio family of external storage solutions, with the Canvio Connect and Canvio Slim Mobile series. 

Toshiba L9300U 4K Ultra HD TVs now available in the US

Toshiba has announced that the L9300U series of 4K ultra HD TVs is now available at select retailers the US. The series of 4K ultra HD TVs are available in 58-inch, 65-inch, and 84-inch screen sizes. Toshiba will also be providing a couple very nice upgrades at no additional cost to buyers of the televisions for a limited time.

Toshiba Z-series business laptops unveiled with Intel Haswell processors

Toshiba has unveiled three new business laptops: the Toshiba Portege Z30, Tecra Z40, and the Tecra Z50. All models are designed for the working day, meeting a variety of needs and being offered in three different screen sizes, allowing users to select the type of that best meets their needs in terms of both portability and hardware. Prices haven’t been announced yet, but Toshiba says they’ll be arriving in the fourth-quarter of this year.

Toshiba Launches 7,278 rpm 2.5-inch HDD Series with 7 mm Height

Toshiba Corporation today announced that it will expand its family of small form factor 2.5-inch HDDs with a new series that packs up to 500GB of data storage into a unit with a height of just 7mm. The new "MQ01ACF" series will start shipping from August 30.

Toshiba promoted the Portege Z10t as a detachable business ultrabook, when it introduced it near the end of May 2013. 

Toshiba’s new 10″ tablet trio: Excite Pro and Excite Write with Tegra 4, $299.99 Excite Pure

Toshiba’s introduced some new tablets of its own, not to let Asus steal the spotlight for this week. The new devices are called Excite Pro, Excite Write, and Excite Pure. All are powered by Nvidia processors, with the latter sporting a Tegra 3. The Pro and Write come with Nvidia’s Tegra 4, so there will be no shortage of performance over there.

Toshiba REGZA Z8X Ultra HD TVs set to bring hybridcast to Japan in June

Toshiba is jumping onto the Ultra HD bandwagon, pricing up its trio of 4K TVs, the REGZA Z8X series, for Japan. Set to hit (reinforced) store shelves in late June, the Z8X range will kick off at 58-inches and rise to 84-inches at its biggest, with the largest model price at 1.68m yen ($16,430) and include native NHK “hybridcast” support that blends traditional broadcasts with internet-funneled add-on data.

Dynabook KIRA V832 is a 13.3" Ultrabook with WQHD

Toshiba subsidiary Dynabook rolled out the KIRA V832 Ultrabook, the first of its kind to feature a brilliant WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) screen. The 13.3-incher features an aluminium unibody construction on both its halves, with a reinforced oleophobic glass panel covering its screen. Under its hood is a fairly conventional set of hardware for Ultrabooks.
