NVIDIA Tegra Note Now Official

NVIDIA gave wings to its official Tegra Note project. The 7-inch tablet, which NVIDIA wants to pit against the Nexus 7 (to avenge Google's dumping of Tegra for Snapdragon in its second-generation), was launched through various NVIDIA partner-brands, a majority of which also sell the company's GeForce graphics cards.

Leadtek Rolls Out the GeForce GTX 780 Hurricane III

Leadtek rolled out the GeForce GTX 780 Hurricane III graphics card. The card combines a reference-design NVIDIA PCB with the company's homebrew Hurricane III cooling solution, which facilitates a small factory overclock, of 876 MHz core, and 928 MHz GPU Boost, compared to 863/900 MHz NVIDIA reference clock speeds.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 launched with Kepler architecture

NVIDIA has officially kicked off its GeForce GTX 760 GPU, which is being offered at the budget-friendly price of $249 and harboring Kepler architecture. In gaming benchmarks, the GTX 760 beats out the previous GTX 660 across the board, in some cases quite substantially. NVIDIA hails it as offering power “dramatically” beyond the gaming consoles slated to hit shelves in the coming months.

The information was sourced and publicized by the VideoCardz.com crew on Tuesday, confirming some previous leaks and refuting others. The new GeForce GTX 760 employs the same reference design NVIDIA used for its previous generation cards (GTX 670, GTX 660 Ti, GTX 660 and GTX 650 Ti) and is designed to replace the GTX 660 Ti in NVIDIA's current lineup.

While Gigabyte put in the effort of making a non-reference NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 graphics adapter, with a faster GPU and different cooler, most others of NVIDIA's partners did what Zotac did.

It turns out that NVIDIA's upcoming high-end graphics card, the GeForce GTX 780, is indeed based on the GK110 chip, and to the extant of featuring the same reference-design PCB and cooling solution as the GeForce GTX TITAN. Chinese portal IT168 posted press-shots of the card. If you overlook the "GTX 780" embossing on the cooler, half the number of memory chips, and another very subtle difference, you will easily mistake the GTX 780 for a GTX TITAN.

A little later this week, AMD will launch its Radeon HD 7990 "Malta" graphics card. All eyes are on AMD, with regards to how the company decides to price the card, regardless of how it ends up performing. If it ends up destabilizing NVIDIA's $999 comfort-zone enjoyed by GeForce GTX TITAN and GTX 690, the company could be forced to either lower pricing, or introduce new SKUs based on the GK110 silicon, especially with the crucial summer shopping season around the corner. 

ZTE and NVIDIA announce world’s first Tegra 4 Super Phone

The world is about to get its first Super Phone working with NVIDIA‘s new Tegra 4 quad-core processor, and the manufacturer of this masterpiece has been announced as ZTE. This will be the first time the Tegra 4 will be available on a smartphone in the world according to ZTE and NVIDIA, with a release time set for somewhere before the half-way point through 2013. This announcement does not include a name for the device, nor many specifications or a price, but it does let loose that one important bit – first ever!

NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Pictured

Here it is, folks; the first pictures of NVIDIA's newest pixel crunching dreadnought, the GeForce GTX Titan. Pictures leaked by various sources east of the Greenwich Median reveal a reference board design that's similar in many ways to that of the GeForce GTX 690, thanks to the magnesium alloy cooler shroud, a clear acrylic window letting you peep into the aluminum fin stack, and a large lateral blower. The card features a glowy "GeForce GTX" logo much like the GTX 690, draws power from a combination of 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe power connectors, and features two SLI bridge fingers letting you pair four of them to run 3DMark Fire Strike as if it were a console port from last decade.

[CES 2013] Expect Project SHIELD in Q2 2013 confirms NVIDIA

NVIDIA is aiming for a Q2 2013 launch for the Project SHIELD, the chip company has revealed, though the hardware, software, and name of the portable games console are likely to change before that happens. The compact powerhouse – which features the new Tegra 4 chipset, complete with a whopping 72 GPU cores – currently lacks the LTE radio that the new chip features, and is WiFi-only in its prototype form.

American company NVIDIA, one of the two whales market graphics card, after mobile graphics cards NVIDIA GeForce 670MX and 675MX, which are equipped with laptops AVADirect Clevo officially introduced two entry-level models. The range of novelty products were named GT 645M and GT 625M.
