Panasonic DMC-GM1 mirrorless camera announced in new LUMIX GM series

We’re getting a bunch of new digital cameras this week and Panasonic definitely doesn’t want to be left behind. But not only is Panasonic practically announcing a new series of premium compact cameras as part of the company’s LUMIX Digital Single Lens Mirrorless (DSLM) line, it is also unveiling the first camera in that line, the DMC-GM1.

When many think about Panasonic they immediately think about televisions, but Panasonic is a big name in the photography industry as well. Panasonic has been producing its line of Lumix digital cameras for a number of years. In fact, we spent some hands-on time with the Lumix GX7 digital camera in September. Some pictures of a new Panasonic digital camera have now leaked online.

Panasonic DMC-XS3 digital camera unveiled with high-sensitivity MOS Sensor

Following its unveiling of a super long zoom, Panasonic has introduced a new compact digital camera, the LUMIX DMC-XS3. This camera brings with it a high-sensitivity 14.1-megapixel MOS Sensor, which improves image quality in addition to reducing noise levels. The camera is equipped with a wide-angle lens and several filter features.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ70 16.1MP super zoom unveiled and up for pre-order

Panasonic has unveiled its latest digital camera, the super-long zoom LUMIX DMC-FZ70 featuring 60x optical zoom and a zoom microphone to match. With the zoom microphone, Panasonic aims to improve the audio quality that results from using the integrated mic, and comes alongside a host of other features. The Lumix is up for pre-order now, with its release date being unspecified.
