Chinese mobile phone maker ZTE unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, a new smartphone running under Google’s Android operating system, namely the ZTE Grand Memo.
Just as previous reports have suggested, the new phone arrives on the market with a 5.7-inch touchscreen display, while being capable of delivering high-end performance capabilities courtesy of the Qualcomm 800 processor with quad-core Krait CPUs packed inside it.

Furthermore, the new handset, which can deliver a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution, sports 2GB of RAM, as well as 16GB of internal memory.
The new ZTE Grand Memo features a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for full HD video recording, as well as a front camera for making video calls while on the go.
The specs list of ZTE’s new smartphone also includes a 3200mAh super-long standby battery, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, LTE connectivity, GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors: accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyro.
Running under Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, the new mobile phone arrives on the market with ZTE’s Mifavor user interface loaded on top, as well as with ZTE’s Z Cloud service for enhanced security while on the go.
The smartphone is expected to provide users with a premium mobile experience while on the go, courtesy of the aforementioned Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processors, which was built specifically for this kind of device.
Only 8.5mm thick, the ZTE Grand Memo is expected to become available for purchase in the second quarter of the year. According to the mobile phone maker, the device might sport modified hardware specifications in some markets.
