Toshiba promoted the Portege Z10t as a detachable business ultrabook, when it introduced it near the end of May 2013.
The product is making some ripples again because it is now shipping in Australia, through Telstra.
For those who want a reminder of the specs, here are the core details: an Intel Ivy Bridge vPro CPU (Core i5 or Core i7), 128GB or 256GB SSD, 4 GB RAM (8GB once Haswell is offered), USB 3.0, VGA, HDMI, Ethernet, full-size SD reader and a micro-HDMI socket.
The price is of AU$1,680 / US$1,499 / €1,162 – 1,499. It can be paid all at once or with a monthly data plan of $70 / €52 – 70. There are more expensive options, for anyone who wants more data.
