LG Optimus F7 will be launched by Boost Mobile on June 27

Launched by US Cellular at the beginning of the month, the LG Optimus F7 will also be available at Boost Mobile (as expected). Today Sprint has announced that Boost would start selling the new handset on June 27.

Customers will be able to buy the Optimus F7 for $299.99 (plus tax). There are no contracts involved, since Boost is a prepaid brand.

The F7 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and features: LTE connectivity, a 4.7 inch True HD IPS display, 8MP BSI rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable internal memory, and a “powerful battery” that can provide up to 17 hours of talk time. The smartphone also comes with LG-specific software, including QSlide 2.0, QuickMemo, and VuTalk.

Sprint has recently started selling another new LG smartphone, namely the Optimus L3. This is its cheapest LTE-capable handset, costing $29.99 on contract (or $0 for those willing to bring their number from another carrier to Sprint).
