Toshiba PX35t All-in-One Touchscreen Desktop Computer

Toshiba's Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced PX35t All-In-One Touchscreen Desktop Computer.

Obviously, an Intel CPU lies at the heart, backed by DDR3 RAM. The chip can be a Haswell 4th generation Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7, while the top RAM amount is 16 GB.

Oddly enough, the press release doesn't mention a discrete graphics card, so we might be looking at something with just the CPU-integrated iGP available.

It makes one wonder why the top memory amount would be so high. Media playback doesn't need it, and games won't run well anyway without a good GPU.

But we digress. The Toshiba PX35t has a Full HD 23-inch LCD (2013) with 10-finger multi-touch support.

Also, not unlike the 2013 Toshiba TVs, it boasts Skyline styling in silver, for visual compatibility with any room decor.

The company has even gone as far as to allow the newcomer to act as a TV thanks to the HDMI input. Not that it needs a STB to play movies. It is a PC after all.

Other relevant hardware parts include a wireless, pre-paired, raised-tile keyboard, a mouse, DTS Studio Sound, two USB 3.0 ports (USB 3.0 Sleep & Charge that can charge a smartphone, tablet and other devices, even when the PC is off), Bluetooth 4.0, a DVD drive, Harman Kardon stereo speakers, and a 7,200 RPM HDD of 1 TB. Not only that, but even voice recognition is implemented.

Sales will start near the middle of the month (mid-June 2013), for $1,029.99 / €788 – 1,029.99, give or take.
