First seen in early June, AT&T’s ZTE Mustang smartphone is now appearing over at ZTE USA’s official website. It’s not available to purchase yet – despite the existence of a Buy button – but AT&T will probably start selling it soon.
It looks like the handset will be simply called AT&T Z998 – there’s no ZTE branding on it at all. It will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean at launch, featuring: a 4.5 inch qHD (960 x 540) display, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 1MP front-facing camera, dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 2,070 mAh battery.

AT&T will likely offer the ZTE Z998 for a low price (both on, and off contract), since the handset’s specs won’t make anyone droll, and its design is pretty bland, too.
Until the Z998 goes on sale, you can check it out here at ZTE USA.
