Verizon’s Motorola X will be launched on August 29

Verizon has finally let the world know when its Moto X will be released. Customers will be able to order the handset online starting August 29, while in-store availability is scheduled for “the coming weeks.”

Just like AT&T, which is selling the Moto X since April 23, Verizon, will ask $199.99 for the smartphone (on contract).

For the beginning, Verizon will have the Moto X only in black and white. Moto Maker (which lets you customize the device) for Verizon’s Moto X will be available “later this year.”
