Gigabyte has officially announced its Ultrabook X11, which we first saw in May. The X11 has an aluminium chassis with a carbon fibre finish. Thanks to the use of this carbon fibre, the notebook weighs just 975 grams.
The 11.6-inch screen has a 1366x768 pixel resolution. The dimensions of the Ultrabook are 297 x 192 x 16.5 mm. The system features Intel's Core i5-3317U processor, which is clocked at 1.7 GHz and has a 2.6 GHz Turbo mode. The integrated HD Graphics 4000 provides the system's graphics. Gigabyte has opted for 4 GB of DDR3 memory, and a 128 GB solid-state drive. Also present in the Ultrabook X11 are 80211b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, a microSD card reader, webcam and audio jacks. Optionally, the Core i5 chip can be substituted with a Core i7-3517U processor, clocked at 1.9 GHz (3 GHz Turbo).
