The next Android tablet to be launched by Acer, Iconia B1 already had its fair share of leaks. The slate is expected to be officially unveiled at Consumer Electronics Show 2013 (CES), in the next few days.
The slate is said to be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek 8317 processor, which is accompanied by only 512MB of RAM.
There will be 8GB of storage inside, but it is expandable up to 32GB via microSD memory card. Acer Iconia B1 has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, as well as a front-facing VGA camera with HD (720p) video recording.
The latest hearsay claims the Iconia B1 will be available for purchase for only $150/€115, but we’re still waiting for some kind of confirmation from Acer. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
