Lots of Windows Phone fans are anxiously waiting for Microsoft to release the next major update for the mobile platform.
There were numerous reports in the past pointing to a possible January release and today, we have one more confirmation Windows Phone 7.8 could go live this month.
UK-based carrier O2 has just tweeted a timeframe for the release of Windows Phone 7.8. An O2 UK rep replied to a customers asking when the update will be available for its Nokia Lumia 800:
“Hi there, the Windows Phone 7.8 update will be released by the end of January and will be available via Zune.” So there you have it.
