Even though this year’s CES in Las Vegas has been all about Windows 8 tablets, Viewsonic used the trade fair to introduce the company’s latest smart display tablet with a 24-inch screen.
Codenamed VSD240, the device integrates a HD LED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comprises a 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor.

In addition, Viewsonic has integrated HDMI and USB ports, as well as a 1.3 MP camera for a seamless video chatting experience. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support is also available. Last but not least, it includes an SD card that allows buyers to expand the available storage space.
The new 24-inch Android 4.1 tablet is scheduled to go on sale in a few months, with a price tag of $499 (€380).
