CEATEC 2012: Toshiba shows a possible 4K REGZA HDTV

On Japan's largest technology exhibition CEATEC 2012, Toshiba demonstrated a television panel 4K REGZA HDTV with screen sizes 84 inches. According to the journalists Ubergizmo, on a huge screen in the resolution of 4K content looks fantastic, even though image scaling with 1080p-source. Toshiba did not come to the exhibition in order to promote its LCD-panel, but rather to show the public a new image processor CEVO 4K, designed to transfer Full HD-video in 4K.

With an increase in Full HD to 4K uses a special algorithm that does not blur the image and vice versa, making it clearer. When a standard 1080p similar method was used on DVD.

As a result, Toshiba has demonstrated that, at this stage, you can do without expensive and scarce 4K content.
