Samsung GALAXY Note II Arriving at Verizon on November 29

Verizon opened up pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy Note II last week and officially unveiled the smartphone would ship from November 27.

However, it looks like the carrier won't be releasing Samsung's Android flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note II until November 29.

According to a Verizon internal document published by the folks over at Droid-Life, pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy Note II will begin on November 2, and the device launch will be on November 29.

That's not much of a delay especially if we take into consideration the fact that Verizon Wireless will be among the last carriers to launch the Galaxy Note II in the US.

Android enthusiasts and Samsung fans in the US can already purchase the Galaxy Note II through multiple carriers, such as Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular.

T-Mobile USA was the first to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note II in the country, but the handset is a bit more expensive as customers can purchase it for $ 380 USD (295 EUR) with a new two-year Classic plan.

The other two operators that offer the phablet, Sprint and US Cellular, are only asking $ 300 USD (230 EUR) on a two-year term.

Samsung Galaxy Note II ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and come packed with quad-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz.

On the inside, the superphone embeds 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

The phone's 5.5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution is Galaxy Note II's main selling point. The screen is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 for extra protection.

Other highlights of the Galaxy Note II include: 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, S Pen stylus, 3100 mAh Li-Ion battery and 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
