HP Intros IPS LED Backlit Monitor with 360-Degree Swivel

HP Intros Two IPS LED Backlit Monitor with 360-Degree Swivel. New monitor is called EliteDisplay E271i and has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, Full HD as it were.

This, naturally, is not a surprise. After all, pretty much every display nowadays has Full HD or better resolution, unless they're small or companies are really cutting corners.

The brightness of the EliteDisplay E271i is 250 cd/m2, not exactly impressive but, then again, not essential for something not intended for high-end customers.

Sure, gamers have no reason to overlook it, but it's not exactly one of those monstrously endowed pieces of hardware.

Likewise, the VGA, DVI and DisplayPort outputs located at the back of the 27-inch LCD are a common sight.

The integrated USB hub might raise a few eyebrows, but that, too, is not exactly strange.

Moving on, the viewing angles are of 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically, which was expected given the use of an IPS panel.

Verily, the only odd trait of the new monitor is the stand, which not only provides a tilt of -5 to 30 degree ups and downs, but can swivel at 360 degrees as well.

HP's EliteDisplay E271i will be primarily sold to small and medium business customers, as well as enterprise users. As we said before, the price is still unknown, though we suspect it to come out soon.
