The long rumored HTC One Mini will finally be announced today. That’s what HTC hinted today in their tweet.
Not that there’s much we don’t know about it. HTC One Mini specs and pictures leaked thoroughly during the last few months.

HTC One Mini will keep the design of the main One flagship in a smaller body, and will come equipped with:
- 4.3” 720p (1280×720) display
- Dual–core Qualcomm 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU
- 1GB of RAM
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5
- 4MP Ultrapixel main and 1.6 MP front camera
- 16GB of built-in memory
It’s about time HTC refreshed their portfolio with new devices. After they finally started shipping One flagship in late April, they did great for a month, increasing revenues by 50%. But it didn’t last long. With demand for high end flagships slowing for everyone, HTC One sales slumped significantly in June, and will probably not recover much in the following months.
Looking at the specs of HTC One Mini – it should be much cheaper than the main flagship. Low price, combined with great looks of One, could provide a solid boost to HTC sales, and keep them on the path of recovery Peter Chou promised at the beginning of the year.
