Nokia Lumia 1020 Now Available at AT&T

Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of a Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone can now head over to AT&T’s website for that.

Made official earlier this month, the Windows Phone 8 smartphone was put up for pre-order on July 16 through the carrier’s website, as well as via partner retailers.
Those who have reserved the device should already be receiving their units, as AT&T has started shipping them on July 23, while those who haven’t placed a pre-order can now purchase it via this page on the company’s website.

Nokia Lumia 1020, the first Windows Phone 8 device in the world to arrive on shelves with a 41-megapixel photo snapper on the back, features a price tag of $299.99 (€226) at AT&T, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

Users who would like to grab it contract free will be able to do so, while having to get $659.99 (€497) out of their pockets. The phone is available in Black, Yellow and White.

The new Lumia 1020 arrives on shelves with roughly the same hardware specs as the Lumia 920 (and 925 and 928), including a 4.5-inch PureMotionHD+ touchscreen display, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside.

Furthermore, the smartphone features 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 2000mAh battery, front camera for video calling, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and support for AT&T’s 4G LTE and 4G HSPA+ networks.

However, the main selling point of the new device is the 41-megapixel camera that it sports on the back, which should provide users with a far better experience than before.

“The Nokia Lumia 1020 combines the image quality of a 41-megapixel image sensor with the simplicity and convenience of a smartphone that's always with you,” AT&T notes on its website.

“Capture more of any moment with pixel-perfect zoom. The 41-megapixel PureView camera sensor lets you zoom into any photo or video without losing the amazing details.”
