Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 (with LTE) pre-orders start in the UK for £239.99, shipping in early September

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is now up for pre-order in the UK, in SIM-free and unlocked form. If you want to be among the first people in the UK to get their hands on this device, then you’d better go to Clove and pre-order one.

The “preliminary” price is set at £239.99, VAT included. It may change, but it’s not likely to end up being different by a lot. Unfortunately though, there’s some bad news. The Galaxy Ace 3 is only expected to start shipping in early September. So that’s a really long wait.

Last month we were led to believe that the Galaxy Ace 3 would become available in the UK in July, but apparently things have changed. Perhaps Samsung has chosen to (or had to) delay the launch of the smartphone. And so, if you pre-order, know that you’re about two months away from actually receiving it in the mail.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 was announced in early June. It has a 4-inch 480×800 touchscreen, a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, a front-facing camera too, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, microSD support, all the usual connectivity options (including LTE), and a 1,800 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
