LG G Pad 8.3 Might Retail For Just $299

A Chinese website has posted an interesting piece of information regarding the LG G Pad 8.3, the company's second take at tablets which was unveiled a week ahead of IFA 2013 earlier this month. The G Pad packs an 8.3-inch display and overall powerful set of specifications.

According to this Chinese website, LG might begin selling the lowest-end model of the G Pad 8.3 for an unexpectedly low price of just $299, making it a direct competitor to the Google Nexus 7 2013, as well as to any Apple iPad Mini 2 that may be launched in the next couple of months.

A quick reminder, the LG G Pad packs an 8.3-inch 1920 x 1200 display, 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 SoC, 2 GB of RAM, 5 MP rear and 1.2 MP front cameras, a 4,600 mAh battery and impressively compact dimensions (216.8x126.5x8.3mm) as well as weight (338 grams). Certainly a good deal for just $299
