Microsoft rolled out Xbox Music apps for Android and iOS. Launched with Windows 8 and Windows RT, and with apps for the Windows Phone platform, which lets you freely stream music across your various devices over the web, from the web, and offers download-to-own options, using a unified subscription model called Xbox Music Pass.
"Xbox Music now, more than ever, powers music experiences between Windows 8, Xbox, Windows Phone, and now iOS, Android and the Web," said Jerry Johnson, general manager of Xbox Music. "We're also excited to connect artists with their fans on the most anticipated consumer product of the year when Xbox One launches Nov. 22," he added.
