One might expect a tablet with a diagonal of 10.1 inches and a Full HD LCD to cost just as much as any other tablet of its sort, but that isn't exactly the case for the Zync Quad 10.1.
In fact, this tablet is particularly inexpensive, at Rs 14,990, which translates into around $277 and €211.

The tags could end up higher in the US and Europe, assuming the company ever sends the device there, but still, the price is low.
Hardware-wise, the Zync Quad 10.1 relies on a quad-core ARM processor with 1. 5GHz clock speed, hence the name.
It also has a Mali 400 MP4 8-core graphic processor. Not the best in the pond, but enough to run apps and play videos on that 1920 x 1200 pixels IPS display.
2 GB of RAM (DDR3 random access memory) back up the core hardware, while NAND Flash chips add 16 GB of storage space to the list.
It is possible to use the microSD card slot to add 32 GB more to the setup. Owners will have to make the purchase independently though.
Moving on, the tablet gets a pair of cameras, like pretty much every other slate out there. The one on the front is of 2 megapixels (sufficient for video chats), while the one at the back is a 5-megapixel camera with face detection.
As awkward as it is for a person and everyone else in the vicinity to snap photos or record videos with a huge tablet, it is better than not having any other means of immortalizing an event or occasion.
Other specs include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi Hotspot support, an HDMI output, a micro-USB connector, and an 8,000 mAH battery.
