Nearly a month after debuting Galaxy Tab 3 in its 7-inch avatar, Samsung is ready with its 8-inch 16:10 sibling, the Galaxy Tab 3 (8.0), featuring a 1280 x 800-pixel screen. It measures 209.3 x 122.2 x 6.95 mm. It will be available in WiFi-only (model: SM-T311) and WiFi+3G (model: SM-T310) variants.
Running Touchwiz-enhanced Android 4.2, this tablet otherwise features the same innards as the Tab 3 (7.0), with a dual-core 1.5 GHz SoC at the helm, 1536 MB of RAM, 16 GB of storage (8.2 GB usable) that's expandable by up to 64 GB using micro-SD, and a combination of 5-megapixel and 1.3-megapixel cameras. A 4,450 mAh battery powers it.
