HP has developed a new monitor for business users, the EliteDisplay E231. This 23-inch monitor has a 1920x1080 pixel Full HD resolution and offers a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m² brightness. More intersting for business users is the power consumption, which maxes out at 36 watts and is just 16.6 watts on average thanks to the LED backlighting.
The monitor has a TN-panel with horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 170° and 160° respectively. HP claims a 5 ms response time. The screen can be adjusted in height by up to 150 mm. Rotation and tilting options are also available. The HP EliteDisplay E231 has VGA, DVI and DisplayPort video inputs.
