Nokia Lumia 928 Spotted in White, Accessories Emerge on Amazon

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has been long rumored to plan the launch of a new flavor of its Lumia 920 smartphone for wireless carrier Verizon in the United States, and some more proof that the smartphone does exist has emerged online.

A new leaked image with the device is now available for your viewing pleasure, showing the device all dressed up in White, after we had the chance to see the Black flavor of the smartphone only several days ago.

Furthermore, accessories for the device were spotted on Amazon’s website, confirming not only the phone’s outer design, but also the fact that it is a real device.

While no specific release date has been provided for this smartphone as of now, it might not be too long before all the necessary details are made official, as Nokia and Verizon are expected to announce it before the end of this month.

Rumor has it that the Lumia 928 will hit the market with Windows Phone 8 GDR2 loaded on top, but that it will sport roughly the same hardware specs as the Lumia 920.

It should feature a 4.5-inch OLED display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor from Qualcomm and 1GB of RAM, as well as 32GB of internal memory, previous reports suggested.

Furthermore, the smartphone is expected to prove slimmer than the already available handset, although not by much. It would measure 10.2mm in thickness, while the Lumia 920 is 10.7mm thin.

Lumia 928 is also expected to deliver support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network, and to sport xenon flash next to its 8.7-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

While specific details on the smartphone have yet to be officially confirmed, the one thing that is certain is the fact that the handset exists, and that it will hit the market in more color flavors, just as other devices in Nokia’s Lumia lineup did.
