Today, Chinese mobile phone maker Xiaomi officially announced the release of an updated flavor of their flagship smartphone, called Xiaomi Mi2S, and set to arrive on shelves in two flavors.
Both versions of the new device will hit shelves with a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM, as well as with a 4.3-inch 720p display.

However, the two versions will differ in terms of internal memory and rear cameras, with one of them packing 16GB of storage and an 8-megapixel camera, and the other featuring 32GB of storage and a 13MP photo snapper.
The pricing for Xiaomi Mi2S will start at 1,999 Yuan ($322 / 247 Euro) for the 16GB model, while the 32GB flavor will go for 2,299 Yuan ($370 / 284 Euro). Apparently, the new device is capable of increased performance capabilities, with a score of 25,913 in AnTuTu.
Xiaomi plans on selling the smartphone in Hong Kong and Taiwan too, and has already launched new websites for it.
