DROID DNA by HTC was launched with a price tag of $ 199.99 attached to it, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.
However, those who would like to purchase it contract-free will be able to do so as well, while having to pay no less than $ 599.99 for the device.
The new DROID DNA by HTC comes with support for the wireless carrier's 4G LTE network, yet this is not the only appealing feature it was packed with.
The phone's main selling point is its 5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a full HD 1080p resolution, and which was paired with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of DDR2 RAM.
The smartphone also packs 16GB of internal memory, but no microSD memory card slot to allow users to expand it.
On the back, DROID DNA by HTC was packed with an 8-megapixel photo snapper, with LED flash and support for full HD video recording, complemented by a 2.1MP front camera for making video calls.
The specs list of the new device also includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, Mobile Hotspot capabilities, built-in Beats Audio, GPS receiver, and NFC.
The new mobile phone is powered by a 2020mAh Standard Li-Ion, non-removable battery that can deliver up to 12.8 hours of usage time or up to 14.7 days of standby time.
DROID DNA by HTC runs under Google's Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and provides users with all the features packed inside the OS, including Google Now and more.
