Windows Phone 8X by HTC at Telstra in Australia on December 4


Australian mobile phone carrier Telstra has officially announced plans to make the Windows Phone 8X by HTC smartphone available for purchase on its network starting with the next month.

The carrier will provide users with the possibility to purchase the new device from its online store on December 4, while being able to grab it in stores as well starting with December 11. It will be released in two color flavors, namely Californian Blue and Graphite Black.

The handset will be available on the $ 60 Every Day Connect Plan with a $ 5 handset repayment per month, but users will also have the possibility to purchase it outright for $ 696, the carrier announced.

The Windows Phone 8 device will provide users with a nice range of highly appealing features on the carrier's network, including support for 4G LTE connectivity.

Furthermore, the smartphone will deliver a highly appealing viewing experience while on the go, courtesy of its 4.3 inch 720p HD screen.

The specifications list of this device also includes a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, complemented by 1GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the smartphone comes with 16GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot to expand it.

HTC has packed it with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for full HD video recording, as well as with a front camera to enable video calling while on the go.

Windows Phone 8X by HTC comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity packed inside, as well as with a built-in GPS receiver, and with the entire range of usual sensors.
