US-based carrier T-Mobile has just released the LG Optimus L9 mid-ranged Android smartphone. However, the device's specs sheet is a bit different than the original Optimus L9, which was officially announced back in August at IFA 2012 trade fair.
Codenamed LG P769, T-Mobile's Optimus L9 is now available for purchase for as low as 80 USD (60 EUR) with a new two-year agreement after mail-in rebate and instant discount. Check it out here.

Customers who wish to purchase this mid-end Android handset may want to check Wirefly's deal, as the retailer offers the LG Optimus L9 for only 50 USD (40 EUR) on a two-year term.
As we already mentioned earlier, T-Mobile's Optimus L9 comes with a slightly smaller display than original model, which sports a 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.
The carrier-bounded LG Optimus L9 has a smaller 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with the same resolution. Both displays feature Corning Gorilla Glass 2 coating.
Still, the Optimus L9 that has just hit shelves at T-Mobile comes packed with HSPA + (42Mbps) connectivity, whereas the original model only offers HSDPA (21Mbps) support.
Hardware-wise, T-Mobile Optimus L9 is equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
The smartphone also packs a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.
Other highlights of the LG Optimus L9 include: dual-band Wi-Fi support, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA and microUSB. The phone is powered by a 2150 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 28 days of standby time or up to 1 day and 5 hours of usage time.
